I have been fighting hives for three months. Steroids didn't work. Dermatologist told me not to use any moisturizers on my skin due to perfumes, etc. But I had to use something and found this product. It relieved my dry, irriated skin and helped the hives to diminish. I still don't know why I have hives but I will keep using this product. It has helped me tremendously!!!

I mostly use this as a hand cream, but it could be used as an entire body lotion as well. It's moisturizing without being greasy & heavy. A lot of hand creams are expensive for a small bottle & have nasty chemicals like aluminum. Aveeno Skin Relief is rated 2-LOW hazard on the cosmetic safety database. The ingredients listed on drugstore.com are correct (for once). I like that this is fragrance free & the shea butter makes it more moisturizing than regular Aveeno. Overall, a great lotion for winter weather & dry skin.

I use this every day, esepcially in NY's winters. It relieves my dry, cracked hands. It may sting your hands if they are really raw, but that's because it is doing its job. It's relieving the skin of the damage.

THIS Product does not have "menthol" as stated above. This has the Shea Butter. They have 2 lotions that are almost identical in design...so read carefully when ordering.

I have really, really dry cracked hands. This product burned my hands as most lotions do upon application. My hands are really raw as I wear latex gloves 10-12 hours a day and my skin just peels off at points where it is very painful to touch anything or apply anything. As I said this burns my cuts and raw skin like crazy for several minutes after application. But, then it totally relieves them. The constant pain is gone as if I put a pain-killer on. It does feel very "waxy" [not greasy] while on. I feel like I'm leaving a coat of wax on everything on touch. When the lotion wears off, it seems like my hands are twice as bad as they were before I put on the lotion. This lotion with the natural shea butter is great if I could just keep it on 24-7...but I can't.

I WOULD reommend for you to try this, as each person is different. Once it is on, it is total relief. My situation is I wear the gloves off and on throughout the day which rubs the lotion off and then rubs my skin raw. [I'm not allergic to latex, already tested].

This is the best lotion I have ever used. It actually does what it says on the bottle and it actually lasts for a LONG time! And it smells really good too.
