He's still VERY pale. We live at 6500 ft. elevation so the sun is brutal up here. The lotion takes a little extra rubbing, but it's not greasy and has NO odor at all. I love it and plan to buy another tube soon. VS Most Liked Negative Review Beware of chemicals Please be cautious if your child has eczema, sensitive skin, or allergies in general. My son broke out in a horrible red, hot, rash (very much like sunburn) as well as hives all over his body last weekend after applying this sunblock. It was extremely uncomfortable to say the least, and by the next day his eyes were almost swollen shut. After taking him to the doctor and doing extensive research online about sunscreen allergies, I have discovered that all 5 active ingredients are chemicals known to cause severe reactions (avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene and oxybenzone). It is far safer to use the physical barrier sunscreens (zinc oxide and titanium dioxide) than the chemical ones. And no matter what product you use, first apply a small amount both in and out of the sun to fully test. Some people react to these chemicals, only in combination with exposure to the sun, called photochemical reaction. Also, it can take more than 24 hours for a reaction to appear. I am disappointed with Aveeno (J&J)to advertise a product as "safe as water", when it actually consists of chemicals which are knwon to cause severe reactions in some people! Please be careful. There are plenty of people who don't have any adverse reactions, but there are plenty of people who do! Comments about Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55, 4 oz: This is the only not-so-sticky baby sun block I found. I like how easy to apply it on my baby. Pros

Comments about Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55, 4 oz: My daughter has very sensitive skin and she breaks out in rashes with almost every product we have tried; even those meant for sensitive skin. Though I tend to buy the least expensive effective product, this one gets 2 thumbs up from me. Pros

Comments about Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55, 4 oz: I will never use this product again and I hope no one else will buy it either. Like others have said this product caused a rash on my 9 month old and also caused her eyes and nose to pour... I looked at the ingredients (I wish I would have before buying, so much for trusting a company who suposedly sells products made for sensitive skin) and it contains behenyl alcohol also known as Docosanol. An antiviral that was approved by the FDA under the name Abreva. I can't immagine rubbing something that is potent enough to kill the herpes virus all over my child... When I pointed this out to Aveeno they denied that this ingredient was in their product... NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Pros

Best Uses Comments about Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55, 4 oz: The first time I used this on my 1 year old daughter, it stung her eyes. It got so irritated it looked like someone punched her. Poor thing could barely open her eyes for several hours even after it was washed off. At first I thought it was because she rubbed her eyes and got some sunblock in there. I thought it was my fault for getting it too close to her eyes and didn't think much of it. Then, I started using it on my 4 year old son everyday this summer since he started swim lessons. Every time I put it on him he cried and complained about it stinging his face. I thought he was just whining because he didn't want to stand still, but then 3 weeks later I started noticing discoloration on his face (white spots, to be exact). I looked up Aveeno on [@] and found out that they are rated as unsafe. I am very disappointed in the product and will stop using immediately. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55, 4 oz: Used this sunscreen hoping the best from a name brand like Aveeno...but sadly mistaken when my son developed a hivey rash and red burning skin that brought him to lots for discomfort and tears!! Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55, 4 oz: I bought this when my 3 year old niece was visiting me. I have a sensitive skin, so I thought this product would be good for me as well. I tried using it several times on my skin, and it stings. When apply it on my face, it stings my eyes, as well. It was so uncomfortable, I cannot imagine using this on a baby. Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55, 4 oz: Our son has very sensitive skin with outbreaks of eczema. This is super gentle on his skin but unfortunately, it causes horrible irritation for his eyes. I'm sure that's common with most sunscreens but this seemed especially bad. He cried for an hour and had red, swollen eyes for hours afterward. Since it's not realistic to completely prevent him from rubbing his eyes, we'll be looking for an alternative. Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 55, 4 oz: This lotion is the worst. My daughter was crying all day about how her eyes were burning her. She was so swollen and teary all day - even after her bath, where I washed her eyes with plain water. She also had a rash on her face. Pros
