What I really like about it is that I can put the lotion on my legs immediately after shaving, and there is absolutely no stinging or burning. VS Most Liked Negative Review My little guy totally ... Well I tried it again now that he is 9 weeks, and the same prickly red rash is back in the places I applied the Aveeno. Bummer, he is obviously allergic to some ingredient in it. At least I can use it on myself, but I won't be able to use it on my baby. I have really sensitive skin, but this product is as gentle as water--and it moisturizes well. This last weekend I had a really bad rash from the sun and after trying medicated creams I thought to try my good old baby lotion and it was the only thing that worked. I use this lotion to shave in the shower too--it works great. And it's cheaper than grownup lotions! This is the only lotion that has worked so well for my skin. I finally found a combination of products that clear the acne (if you're curious - Clean & Clear Persagel and Paula's choice BHA liquid both twice a day plus Yaz birth control), but they also left my face dry. This is the only lotion I found that: 1)doesn't make my face hurt and/or red 2)doesn't clump up with the other products I use on my face and 3)doesn't make my face shiny. I started using it on my legs and hands, too. I'm so glad I found something that worked!! It really does work well. There is NO smell, and my baby didn't scream when I put it on her the way she did with Johnson's lotions (must be the fragrance or something). I always read ingredients and this has very little, which is a positive all the way around. I would reccommend not only for newborns and children, but for people with sensitive skin that need moisture and protection on hands, body, and even face. Within a few days my legs stopped itching and were no longer bumpy and irritated. Whenever I stop using this product I notice the eczema comes back quickly. I love how the lotion seems to last on my skin and that it has NO smell to it at all. I plan to use the Aveeno products on my baby. He had broke out all the sudden on his baby-perfect skin. It works in combination with the Aveeno baby wash a couple times per day. I notice that when I stop applying it after a few days, he gets his acne a little bit back. That is because of his drooling, and chewing on his hands (teething) and it gets all over his face .I think the Dimethicone in the Aveeno helps to protect him from the environment when we walk and his own slobber! I had a friend tell me to watch out for products like this (she's into more organic) but I didn't listen and I'm glad I got Aveeno. Impressive, thanks! After reading all the reviews about how wonderful it is for newborn baby delicate skin I wanted to try for my fussy skin. If it is good for babies, I thought it has to work on my rough adult skin. I wished I hadn't spent all that money on the overpriced women's face products that I have. This is definitely a staple on my bathroom counter for life!
