Since we moved to a cooler climate and a higher elevation, my family has had terribly dry skin. This lotion is great for any time of the day as the scent is light and it goes on easily. Aveeno is a long time trusted name and this product certainly lives up to its reputation. My kids have sensitive skin and this works great and is non irritating.

I like the regular Aveeno daily moisturizer so I bougt this for myself thinking that it would be extra gentle to my currently allergy-outbroken skin. Looked and the Ingredients of the two side by side and it's pretty much the same exact product except that Aveeno Baby has an added ingredient and is 1.2% Dimethicone instead of 1.25%

Aveeno Baby:
Active Ingredient: Dimethicone 1.2%
Inactive Ingredients: Allantoin, Avena sativa (oat) kernel flour, benzyl alcohol, cetyl alchohol, distearyldimonium chloride, glycerin, isopropyl palmitate, petrolatum, sodium chloride, water

Aveeno Adult:
Active Ingredient: Dimethicone 1.25%
Inactive Ingredients: Avena sativa (oat) kernel flour, benzyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, distearyldimonium chloride, glycerin, isopropyl palmitate, petrolatum, sodium chloride, water

So in the end I just don't feel like I'm getting a product that is any different from the Aveeno I've been using. It's still a good product, but they are the same to me and didn't provide me with the change I was looking for

This lotion is slightly thinner than the regular Aveeno lotion so it is easier to use on arms and legs. It is great for sensitive skin too.

We buy this for those times when our skin is too dry, itchy, and sensitive for any other lotion. My son is a swimmer and sometimes the treated pool water really bothers his skin. This is the only lotion I've ever found that soothes without any initial stinging or discomfort.
