Have used it on my now 6 y/o since she was a baby, still love it for her (and she is fine with it). Now back in baby mode with 6 m/o. It's perfect for both of them. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars-- I would prefer the option of a bottle with a pump dispenser and as far as I can tell there is none.

My daughters are 6 and 7y, we used this shampoo from when they were newborns. When my first daughter was 1y old we tried so many other brands, more expensive ones, but we did not like them. Aveeno shampoo work best for us (my daughters have long, beautiful straight hair)!

We love this product - when I smell it I think of my daughter, and I have been known to use it for myself because of the fabulous scent. It's a baby smell without smelling like baby powder or something corny. You don't need a lot for a lather, it washes her hair nicely without getting tangles, and washes her skin without drying it out too much (though we don't use it every day on her skin, we switch between this and a hydrating wash for her skin). A couple squeezes makes plenty of fun bubbles and it really is tear-free. The bottle is baby-friendly - really keeps itself shut, doesn't leak, no rough sides and bottom-heavy so even when it's near empty it won't easily fall over.

This shampoo is not sulfate-free or fragrance free as others suggested in their reviews. I was looking for something hypoallergenic. I tried it anyway, and it was not effective for thick hair. My hair was left with a film and an odd texture.

rosacea runs in family so we all use this to avoid ingredients on the "do not use list" for rosacea.

we all love it. it smells wonderful, is very gentle and cleans well.

it's not big on lather. but lather is NOT indicative of good cleaning power. lather happens when surfactants attach to air, not dirt. this cleans very well.

so, works well, smells great, is gentle and doesn't aggravate skin conditions = 5 stars

I switched to Aveeno products when my daughter was an infant. Her sensitive skin has been best cared for by Aveeno. The Wash & Shampoo has a great light scent. It doesn't bother my daughter's eyes. It is low on suds, but suds are not necessary for a good clean. Her hair is fine and we have found a detangler is becoming necessary. We love this product!

We use this for hte kids. It's very gentle and seems to be good for eczema. Doesn't have much smell (which is good, I suppose). It also doesn't lather well so we end up having to use a lot to wash their long hair. Still, feel confident that it won't hurt their eyes and is good for their skin.

I got this product because some of the other reviews said it was good for adult hair as well. This is OK, I should have chosen other Aveeno products, which are fragrance free, because I am sensitive to fragrance. What I didn't realize until after I ordered this product was that the Aveeno Baby Wash and Shampoo - "Lightly Sented" has NO fragrance in the ingredient list. I am going to try this next. Also the other Aveeno body washes (for adults) moisturize more than this product.
