Do NOT use as eye makeup remover; it will sting your eyes badly. This is not the type of acne-treatment astringent pads like the kind from Clearasil or Oxy. This is pre-moistened with a light- to medium-weight foaming cleanser that DOES need to be rinsed off, with or without a washcloth. It does not irritate or dry my skin, but I would not recommend to those with dry or sensitive skin. It will not help very bad, cystic acne, but is very good for blackheads and small bumps. The scent is marvelous, but strong, so if you don't like overly-perfumed face products, this isn't for you. I fully intend to keep using these. My skin remained clear for months. Then my mom bought this product since the store was out of the positively radiant pads. I figured "Why not start using salicylic acid instead? It will cut out the step of applying a cream to my face." These worked great at first, but now after a month my acne has flared up again. Although this was great in clearing blackheads, I now have tiny little bumps all over my nose and right underneath my eyes. I even tried the Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser which has a higher percent of salicylic acid, and the results have been no better. Perhaps salicylic acid is just not my thing. Comments about Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads, 28 ea: I love these cleansing pads. They are the one thing I changed in my routine that finally started to help me clear up my skin. They're so easy to use at night when I don't really feel like washing my face. I massage the textured side over my face in tiny circular motions, then flip the pad over and go over everything again with the smooth side (it makes a really silky lather!), then rinse. This removes all of my foundation and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. I use a salicylic acid moisturizer right after this and spot-treat with benzoyl peroxide, and my painful acne has finally calmed down. The SA + BP did not work using a regular gel cleanser, but that changed when I switched to these. :) A great product!!!  Pros

These are great...it leaves my skin calm and totally removes all facial make up. As another consumer indicated, do not use to remove eye makeup as you may expereince burning. Comments about Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads, 28 ea: The first time I used these pads, I hated them. They smell icky, they drip all over the place and are cold. They were not fun to use before going to bed. But then I ran out of my normal glycolic cleanser that I used in the shower in the morning, so I decided to use these up and give them another try. My skin has been so clear ever since. I really want to go back to my old cleanser because I like using it and I still don't enjoy using these, but I can't get over the results.
