I find it moisturizes better and longer ...Read complete review I use Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion as an all-over body moisturizer after showering in the morning and then reapply to my arms, legs and feet at bedtime. I find it moisturizes better and longer than some other similarly priced and even some more expensive brands I've used which is why I always keep a bottle of Aveeno in the house. I don't think it lasts for 24 hours though which is why I reapply to the body parts that need it before going to bed. Anything that lasts longer I find tends to be greasy feeling which I wouldn't want to have all over. The Aveeno is not greasy at all. Just leaves my skin soft, smooth and flake free. During cold winter months when the air is dry and the heat has been running 24/7 I find I need heavier moisturizing on my heels, shins and hands and then will apply something with shea butter to those particular areas while continuing to use Aveeno everywhere else. And it does an ok job on my hands. For all over my body, it doesn't moisturize enough. I get itchy a little while after I put it on. It also doesn't soak in very quickly for me. After putting it on my hands, they feel wet for a couple minutes and I wash my hands a lot so this is annoying. I wish SO bad that St. Ives would bring back their old Collagen and Elastin product that soaks in beautifully, and is the perfect consistency but didn't smell like the new one does!! For a while I stuck with St. Ives but I was displeased with the new formula (I was shocked that the new collagen formula reeked) and I've been jumping on the all natural band wagon. When I first tried the Aveeno I was turned off by watery it was. But I was pleasently surprised by how well it worked. It absorbed really quickly and moisturized better than other thicker body lotions. This lotion is my new staple all over body lotion.
