This fixes my lips, without sodium laurel sulfate, found in almost everything else; even though it's a known skin irritant. I use it constantly, as needed which is not too often, but it will come off with a napkin or repeated licking of the lips. However, it does work well enough to almost stop lip-licking caused by dry lips, if you notice the licking and re-apply! There's also plenty in the tube, and stays on well enough that the tube lasts a good while. Generally, the price seems about average for lip moisturizers, so I think it's a great value. This one is really pleasant and does not taste like anything. It's soothing for chapped lips and hydrates them nicely. I was previously using Burt's Bees original and wanted something with sunscreen. It was very smooth and smells lightly like vanilla. I liked it, but my lips became more chapped with use. It's not "bad" if you like vanilla but I feel like I've smeared the cream of an oreo cookie on my mouth and want to lick my lips or eat snacks. It does not last at all..it's very slick and it's only good for the first 1/2 hour maybe. After that it's gone..if you eat or drink or talk,..it's gone even sooner. I must always wear a product with spf in it on my mouth at all times or I will get a fever blister. They used to carry this Aveeno lip balm in every store, now they do not. The only place I can find it is Drugstore.com. I buy it a dozen or more at a time. It is the best balm I have ever found! I hope they never stop carrying it! Some drug stores would order it for me special, but they wanted over 5 dollars a tube. Then I found it on line and have been buying my magic lip balm in bulk for several months now. Totaly recommend this chapstick. I save money not having to buy so much chapstick in the winter because this lasts so long. I love Aveeno! I have a cache of lipbalms that I use daily all winter-long, and like to try different ones out. I always seem to come back to Aveeno, as it is a great daily dependable lipbalm. It doesn't have much of a scent (a very light vanilla), it isn't greasy, and it is soothing & moisturizing. All in all, one of the best that I have found. Then all of a sudden I could not find it in any stores. They would offer to order it for me at a impossible price! I found it on drug store .com and now order it in quantity. I always order at least 10 or more tubes since I can not get it anywhere else. It also has a great spf in it, so I cannot be without it. WONDERFUL, NOT CAKING PRODUCT! I am lost without it!
