So-called gentle, sensitive skin cleansers leave a film, or just don't cleanse. So-called effective cleansers are too harsh and drying. I also noticed that I have problems with all liquid cleansers, so this bar has definitely been the best choice for me. My skin is combination, but I tend to dry out very easily. This is the one cleanser that I never have any problems with. I always come back to it. I finally realize that my HG search is over, and I need to stop straying, and wasting money on other cleansers. Even though this is a bar, I have never had any issues with this cleanser making my skin dry, tight or flaky. It's honestly one of the least drying cleansers I've used; yet, it's extremely effective. Finally, it's inexpensive, as well as easy to find. VS Most Liked Negative Review Not bad... Not sure if it has helped, since I added other daily skin care at same time. Doesn't lather as much as some other brands, but doesn't seem to dry skin, either. It helps both our skin types, dry and oily skin. We now order it by the case to insure we don't run out. It was very mild. It cleaned well and did not irritate her sensitive skin. We usually use the Dove sensitive bar soap. I think the Dove sensitive is just as mild as the Aveeno. His oily skin feels clean and nongreasy after his bath/shower. Aveeno has some really awesome products. You gotta try their shave gel!
