My skin is as smooth and clear as it ever has been, and my esthetician cannot believe I'm not using a high-end product. Some people may think this is pricey, but compared to derma-spa products, it's a bargain. I use them only in the evening, and follow up with Olay Definity self repair serum and eye cream. I use a higher end creamy cleanser in the morning, followed by antioxidant serum and sunblock. I'll turn sixty this year, and always get compliments on my skin. I am 36 and have a large pore/blackhead problem, plus am getting concerned about aging. I loved the pads "in use" and the way they made my skin feel, BUT after a few days I had a horrible, dry, patchy, itchy PAINFUL rash on my eyelids and neck and all around my mouth! And yes I used the "soft" side on those parts! And because of my skin type I have used all kinds of cleansers masks toners prescriptions.......NEVER has anything happened like this! I stopped using for a few weeks and tried again, same thing! SO I know it's from the pads. I read the package when I bought them to make sure they were hypoallergenic and the description even says they're great for sensitive skin...........BUT they have fragrance, which is probably what did me in! It took less than a week for me to notice how clear my skin could be with proper care. Have tried LOTS of products, and now use no other cleanser. Immediately follow the cleaning routine with Perricone cold plasma. Couldn't ask for better results. (Already eat lots of veggies, drink lots of Volvic, etc. as basic practice). I am getting on, as the Brits say, but my skin looks great. Pros

This package is very large, so it's not great for the gym bag. Also, I didn't realize that it had to be rinsed off like a face wash. It's not just a facial towelette that does not need to be rinsed. However, the two sided pads make cleaning my face a snap. I ended up buying my usual facial wipe (Burt's Bees) bc in the end, I really wanted facial wipes for my gym bag. I'll still use these though, but only at home when rinsing my face is convenient. Pros

Comments about Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleansing Pads, 28 ea: My teenage son plays sports and gets oily blemishes on and around the nose area. These gentle pads clear up his clogged pores and blackheads without harsh drying agents. Mind you it doesn't clear them overnight, but with consistent exfoliation, his skin gets nice and clear, including removal of any of the really deep, unsightly blackheads in about two weeks, or so. The exfoliation exposes the blemish and it works out on its own without picking or damage. His skin does get radiant. Very happy with product. |
