I've been shaving my legs for the past 20+ years, and this is virtually the best shaving gel I have ever used. Even the high end ones have caused issues, but considering how affordable this is, Id buy it in bulk given the option. It has a light clean but pleasant smell, so it's great for men and women, softens the skin and can even been rubbed into the skin as a moisturizer. And since using this product, there has been no irritation or razor rash whatsoever and I've notice the hair has gotten finer too, at least for me.
Not recommended for everyone because of various skin types/sensitivities, although it is gentle product, but if you're in a rush, in 5 minutes I have used it dry and rinsed the blade in a small portion of warm water. Just drain the sink and rub the remaining portion into the skin without toweling off and you're good to go.
The only thing I have issue with at all which would be considered petty at worst is as a gel it can be messy, but that's going to be a given. But in the meantime, this gel will definitely suffice for in home use.

I have been using this product for weeks and have not noticed any change in hair growth at all. Despite that, I will keep buying this product because of the fragrance-- it is absolutely yummy! Another plus is that you hardly need any to cover your legs. A little really goes a long way.

This is great for men also. My girlfriend has been using this shave gel for many months and has been commenting on how great a shave she gets and that the hair takes longer to grow back in. Since I have very course hair on my face and really haven't found a good shave gel that leaves me smooth I tried this. It is the most lubricating moisturizing shave gel or shaving cream I have ever used, and I've tried many. The hair on my face is actually taking longer to grow back in. There is a light fragrance to this but it rinses away. The shave is slick smooth and the only closer shave I've ever had was at a barber shop with a straight razor.

Started using this product about a year ago, after I stopped waxing my legs due to bumps and irritated skin. I love this shaving cream! I have coarse dark hair and have noticed that when I use other shaving cream, I get stubble (yuk) within 24 hours. With the Aveeno, I can stretch it for 3 days before any stubble shows. The other great thing about it, is that I never get nicks or ingrown hairs. I have sensitive skin, and it doesn't irritate or dry it. I recommend also using a body scrub before applying shaving cream to open the pores, making for an even closer shave.

This works fine. I don't know that it helps me shave less often. It took several times before I figured out that it smelled like Play-Doh. Not bad but not good. Just ok.

I bought this on a whim and had low expectations as shaving creams well....they usually don't impress me. Best random decision I made! This stuff smells incredible, its sweet but not too sweet and fresh at the same time. And my most pleasant surprise....it really does minimize when I need to shave and how the hair grows back. I actually did a test with other gels just to compare, and on the times I don't use this to shave gel I find that my leg hair grows in quicker and thicker versus when I do use this. I will never look back after this!

Aveeno resolved a skin problem (rash, bumps) a friend was having. It moisturizes really well and leaves his skin smooth and plump. I like it too, but unfortunately, I tend to break out with moisturizers on my face. This cream was no different in that arena for me, so I continue with an alternate brand that leaves my skin overly dry. I would recommend Aveeno for anyone to test this out if they have sensitive skin and looking for a moisturizer. This would probably be good for shaving anywhere.

The best shaving cream ever. Goes on thick. I always have a hard time shaving because I always get a rash or irritated. When using this product I get no irritaion and my skin is sooo smooth after.
