I bought this for my son when he was about 4 years old. He had severe eczema and scratched his skin so bad that his legs would bleed. His doctor prescribed steroidal medicine that was extremely expensive and didn't work so well. I did a little research and decided to give this a try. It worked miracles. My son actually looked forward to his nightly oatmeal baths and would even fix the bath himself. We would fill the tub up to where he could lay down without his face being immersed. He'd stay in there until the water turned cold. All the itching and scarring was relieved. I highly recommend this for eczema or any severe itching skin. :)

I used this colloidal oatmeal product in the bath (really the only way it can be used). It took away chronic itching and now I am more comfortable moisturizing less often. I was pretty amazed the the difference. The only issue is that it coats your hair too (if you use the bath water to wash and rinse your hair). That means your hair gets dirty rather quickly. But it's a small price to pay if you have chronically dry, itchy skin.

I was marooned in a tiny town in New Mexico with three youg children (2, 4 & 6 yrs) when all 3 came down with Chickenpox. I was not used to children, much less sick children, so I was panicked. I called my Mom and she recommended an oatmeal bath. I used the Aveeno and it saved the day! The children were so miserable and I knew they should avoid scratching. After the baths, they were able to sleep. It was fantastic! The effect did not last forever, but long enough to soothe the childeren. Use it whenever you have itchy or super-dry skin. Keep it on hand for emergency itching!

After a bout with cancer and chemo treatments, my already dry skin was much worse. That along with swelling in my lower legs which streached my skin to the limit, I was scratching all the time, most of the time until I bled. The Aveeno Soothing Bath Treatment was and is the only thing I found that worked. Thanks to a [@] employee that pointed it out to me.

This is my first time using the product, but I am very pleased with it. It soothes my sore muscles after a long workout and leaves my skin feeling smooth. This is one of the best bath products I have used. I would definately recommend it. It does leave some residue in the tub, but its a small price to pay for smooth skin.

I live in Minnesota and cannot get through winter without this product. My skin gets extremely itchy in the winter and nothing helps it like this.
I pour an envelope in my bath each night (yes, I know...baths dry out skin, but I'm addicted to them!). I add a little bath oil and soak for about 20 minutes. If I'm REALLY itchy, I use some Eucerin Calming Lotion afterwards.
Drugstore.com seems to have the best price on Aveeno products, so I buy these frequently.
The only "con" is that it does leave some residue in the tub, but its a small price to pay to get some relief! It washes away easily, anyway.

I am a grown woman who frequently gets rashes in the southern region from super-sensitive skin. This soak relieves my discomfort and helps my skin to heal. I even sprinkle some of the powder in my hand, add a little water, and make a face wash for my acne-prone skin. It does wonders and I've bought this repeatedly!!

I bought this after hemorrhoid surgery to use in sitz baths, and it was a sooo comforting, from the first use. I had used this years ago and am glad to find it again; new formula is even better! It does tend to clump up a bit and leave some residue, but that didn't bother me - well worth it for the relief!
Turn water faucets on to full force. Slowly sprinkle packet of colloidal oatmeal directly under the faucet into the tub or container. Stir any colloidal oatmeal settled on the bottom.
