I am a senior citizen with dry skin who lives a very active outdoors lifestyle in a very hot climate with abundant sunshine. I use Aveeno Sunblock SPT 55 daily mainly on my arms, shoulders and legs. I use Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 daily on my face, neck and chest. Both products are easy to apply and dry quickly for a smooth, non-sticky finish so there is no worry about getting it on clothing . I find that it is not necessary to continually reapply the products to retain effectiveness.

My dermatologist recommended I use this daily, and I do. I put it on before make-up. It soakes in quickly and protects well. I think this is the 3rd bottle I've bought, and I will continue to buy it.

I've tried many brands of sunblock and Aveeno is the best, by far. It doesn't smell, and absorbs completely into the skin, without leaving any visible residue.

I normally use the Neutrogena dry block, but tried this because the price was a little lower at the store I frequent. I have worn it several times to the park, the beach and the pool. I like that it is non-greasy, but that is really the only positive aspect of this sunblock.
For some reason it always leaves me burned on my neck and shoulders. It seems to work fine on arms and legs, but on more sensitive areas it is ineffective. After being in the sun little over an hour today my neck and shoulders are burned as if I had not worn any sunscreen at all. The same thing happened the last time I used this sunscreen, so I am done with it

So, for years I would use Coppertone products, the oil free and sensitive skin kind and I would break out in cystic acne. I have oily skin to begin with and those products only exacerbated my acne. Last summer it took me till at least September to get rid of it from the ONE TIME I put it on when I went to the beach. They were oily and greasy and I didn't like them at all but with Aveeno, oh baby this is it, this is the one!!!! I had a coupon so that is how I came to try it and it was worth it! It rubbed in well, it wasn't greasy afterwords and I didn't get more acne from it. I highly out of any other sunscreens on the market recommend this product, especially if you have oily/combination/acne and/or sensitive skin.

I used this and the SPF's 45 & 30 while in Mexico last August and it kept my pale, Northeast skin from burning at all. I got down there with no color at all, used the 55 for the first few days until I established a little base and then dropped SPF levels gradually. You must know that this is NOT for your face -- it also caused me to get a little rashy on the cheeks and chin and made my eyes water -- but I'd break out if I used my body lotion on my face instead of facial moisturizer, too, and sunblock is no different. So I use Vanicream sunblock on my face, but most any sunblock that uses zinc or titanium oxides instead will be gentler on your face and provide great sun protection. As long as you don't use this sunblock for your face, it's an excellent product, that goes on evenly, dries much less greasy than other products, lasts a long time before reapplying, has NEVER stained my clothing and really provides great sun protection. I will continue to use it.

I wished I had read the reviews on this product before buying it. I really liked this sunscreen in the beginning: smooth application, non-greasy, smells good, very good sun protection, and stays put for pretty long. However, I started noticing that I'd break out after I use this - and the breakouts aren't 1 or 2 pimples, but multiple. Needless to say I am relegating this sunscreen for rest of the body and am searching for new sunscreen for the face.
