Full disclosure about my skin: life-long acne vulgaris, considerable sun damage & tanning bed use during youth (I'm 44, at present), have since had several IPL laser treatments and 2 Photodynamic therapy treatments with Levulan. In other words, daily sunscreen is an absolute must on my once abused, and now very sun sensitive skin.

Using this product on my pasty fair skin for 10 days in Kauai while hiking, ziplining, and scuba diving is what sold me on the product. After 10 days in the intense Kauai sun, I did tan slightly but never burned. I found this impressive.

I cleanse my skin nightly , as usual, and it has never broken out from this product. For daily use on my face, I apply it after cleansing and once my Pro-activ acne repair lotion has soaked in (about 5 min.). I then apply my foundation and makeup, as usual. As a rule, I avoid sitting out in the sun, but I live in California and can't avoid it altogether. For daily use, I only apply this product once a day. When in the sun all day in Kauai, I applied this product every 2-3 hours.

I love this sunscreen. I bought this last year when it first came out for my husband's face and head. He's a blond and he burns very easily, when he uses this stuff he doesn't burn and it doesn't break out his sensitive skin.

I also enjoy this stuff. Since I've started using it, I don't have to worry about my nose getting burnt anymore, and it doesn't break out my skin. It's even great on children's skin.

I purchased this when I burned the back of my calves so badly that for 10 days after people kept saying, "I see dive knife strap marks on the back of your leg... did you go snorkeling yesterday?" The "yesterday" implied that the burn looked fresh. The salient point is that I used Aveeno's SPF 70 continuous coverage on my calves for the next 2 weeks & never once did I feel the sun singeing my fried legs-not even the sensitive skin behind my knees-& I spend hours snorkeling, hiking, exploring, in the intense Kauai sun. If you have acne-prone skin, use salicylic acid products, or Proactiv's products like me, this product works well, as my break-out-at-the-slightest-touch-of-a-finger-to-my-face skin didn't flare up. I use it every day on my face, neck, dcollet & rub the left over product on my hands & forearms. I can hardly believe this sunscreen is an oil-free, non-comedogenic product. Now I don't have to choose between having excellent sun protection or clear, sun burned skin.
