This was the product that sold me on the Avene line. I first used it because I was beginning to get some adult acne (as if getting older is not fun enough). I was amazed at how the cleanance K made my smile lines almost disappear. I use this at night before I go to bed. I tried using it in the morning under makeup, but I found that the make up did not sit well on my skin when this product was under it. This is a truley great product.

I was really hesitant to buy this product because of the price, but I used it twice a day after cleansing and light daily exfoliating for 3 weeks and even my mother commented on how my skin was the clearest she's seen it looking in ages (I've had mild/moderate acne for 13 years). It runs out quickly and is a bit sticky, but my skin has really gone down hill since I ran out so I can tell it definitely helped a lot. I personally find it a bit difficult to afford for the size, but when I can afford it I wish I could buy a gallon of it!

Luv this product, put it on once in the morning prior to makeup and it holds down the shine better than any product I've used before. Also, no breakouts or problems from this product. It is effective for controling T-ZONE SHINE!

Excellent product for preventing acne, eliminating light to moderate acne, blackheads, smoothing out the skin and reducing minor irritations and blemishes. I use it mostly on T-zone, which has oily skin. The product is pleasant on the skin and provides good oil control. The only drawback is it cannot be used as part of a make-up foundation, because when it dries out it becomes kind of flaky, which makes it impossible to create even skin tone. Therefore it is better if it is used as an evening creme only. Other than that I like it a lot.

2 weeks since I started using this and my skin has cleared up significantly. My pores are smaller and my skin tone is noticeably more even. I'm so glad I discovered avene!

I've been using this since my early twenties to control random breakouts and blackheads. It's highly effective. Yes, it does sting for a little bit the first few times of usage, but after that your skin does acclimate and you just reap all the wonderful benefits after.

...discontinued, looks like I'll be buying this from now on! I have an order of the Biore Pore Minimizing SPF 15 Lotion coming (I *may* have bought the last one--sorry!!!), but I bought this stuff beforehand.

I applied some to my face after a workout this morning and I can honestly say my face has not been shiny ALL DAY. I typically have extremely oily skin and am always on the hunt for an oil absorbing/shine minimizing product, so I was super glad to find this one. I've also been using Estee Lauder's Crystal Clear Shine Minimizing Toner prior to applying lotion, but even without using it today, my face has been shine-free for over 8 hours.

Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's small. But it is THE MOST EFFECTIVE product I've ever used for shine control. I've got a bottle of the Biore coming (last one, sorry :( ) on Friday, so I think I'll mix them to make them both last.

And I agree, the smell's not for everyone, but I happen to enjoy it quite a bit.

This product has absolutely helped my skin to become acne-free in about 2 weeks. I had moderate acne with a lot of redness and clogged pores. I also have enlarged pores from oiliness, and had practically given up on ever seeing them become smaller, but OMG! I first received this product in an Avene acne sample/travel kit. At night, I used the Cleanance face wash first and then applied this product after using a mist of Avene Eau Thermale. After the first night, my skin was very noticeably smoother, and my pores looked smaller. Honestly, this product has worked better and faster than anything I have ever tried. Now my skin has no active blemishes and is healing nicely. Some people are complaining about the smell or about the stickiness, but REALLY! Do you actually want to get rid of acne or just complain about every little thing! The product IS sticky and peels off if you rub it. The smell IS strong and lots of people don't like it (but I DO; It is the type of smell that is very common in European beauty products). THEREFORE, THIS PRODUCT SHOULD ONLY BE USED AT NIGHT. If you use a light moisturizer during the day, you won't get too dried out. Also, the 'sting' that some people feel is just the glycolic acid (a very effective ingredient for clearing pores). It goes away in about two seconds. Other Avene products are really great too!
