I bought this Avene Cold Creme last year. Stuffed it in a drawer and forgot about it. I had never tried it before, but have used other Avene products - "lighter" face creams, that is. I expected this to be heavier, of course, being cold cream (thinking back to the '60s when I witnessed my mom slather on the cold cream as a beauty treatment, lol). And as another reviewer here mentions, it does look a little "greasy" when you first put it on, but it sinks into to your skin in just a matter of minutes.
I first spray my face with the Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray, to get an extra dose of moisture. My skin is so dry, especially in the winter! I pat (no rubbing!) the cold cream onto my face - a penny-sized dab is plenty - and the heat from my hands help to disperse it. I've used it in the morning and at night before bed and wow, what a difference it's made!
I suffer from Rosacea and my skin is ultra-sensitive. So far, all of the Avene products I've used do NOT irritate my skin. As an added bonus, the scent is just wonderful. Love it!

I use this cream every morning on face and neck. It is great for my very dry skin, damaged by cold and dry wind. I used anti-wrinkle creams, but with this cream I don't need them anymore, my skin in even and well nourished. The only problem of this cream is that it's greasy and your skin is oily for half an hour, after this time the effect is awesome!
