I use large cotton squares to wipe off the cleanser. You can wipe it off with or without wetting the cotton.

I have acne-prone and sensetive skin, and spent too much time and money to find a skincare products line to calm down my face from breakouts and irritates. I am so lucky that a friend gave me Avene products as gifts, Avene products really work for me!
I just apply this cleanser on face with fingers and massage it for few minutes, then rinse it off. It makes my skin clean and soft, T-zone is not oily anymore.After 2 weeks, acne breakouts less and less.
If you make up, you may need remover products before apply this cleanser.

Avene Extremely Gentle Skin Cleanser cleanses my skin without clogging my pores and/or irritating it. I started using it four years ago when I moved to Italy and wouldn't use anything else to cleanse my sensitive, oily skin. I apply it wiht my (clean) fingers and gently cleanse my face with circular motions for about two minutes, then tissue it off. Even though it's very gentle, it's a highly effective cleanser that doesn't dry or irritate my skin.

another great avene product...............i have very sensitive skin & am limited to what i can use...............avene products are a staple of mine............i use the ones that are fragrance free & for very intolerant or very sensitive skin................i have oily skin & this cleasner works great with that.......and of coarse no irritation............

I have oily skin and rosacea. I thought this cleanser wouldn't be strong enough to cut the oil and remove make up but it does. This product is so good that I threw out all my other products and switched entirely to Avene products.

I've been using this product and others from Avene for many years and they are all fantastic!
Its texture is wonderful and it works awesome,just make sure you apply it with cotton rounds.I've heard of people applying it directly to the face and scrubbing and the results are obviously not the same.It's so gentle,it leaves your skin so fresh and so clean!

I used a similar avene product in Europe, so I thought this would be the same thing. But it isn't, be aware! This one irritated my skin and I needed a week to get it back the way it was. Why avene does not simply sell the same products everywhere? It's annoying.

I found this product in France. My French friends told me to never use water to cleanse your skin. This product is the best! I have oily skin with dry spots and it works well on both areas. My skin gets red easily and it is soothing for that problem.
