I have very sensitive skin and I have been using this brand and most of the products since 2007. I fell in love with the purifying scrub because it exfoliates without "truly" drying and it does so without any pain. The micro beeds are very gentle. You only need a little and as you rub in a circular motion you visibly see the scrub working to remove any dead skin buildup, dry skin spots, or flaking/peeling skin that lotion or make up cannot hide or remove.

The product is so gentle, I use it if my face needs a boost because its dull appearance.

Furthermore, I simply enjoy the scent and the appearance of the pink tint-like appearance of the gel.

While using the product, the scent is relaxing and the beads are gentle, which makes the use of the product fun.

When finished exfoliating, which takes very little time, it rinses clean. There is no mess and no pain.

I then apply moisturizers and sun block, but not before touching my newly revealed skin, which always feels smooth after the process. To the touch it is different and in appearance you will see the difference.

The small tube it comes in also makes it easy to carry while traveling.

Honestly I have nothing bad to say about the product excpet I wish it was more readily available. I had to find it on line once I moved back to the East Coast because I could not find it at any pharmacy.

Of course not every product is for everyone, but this product is by far my favorite. I have tried others, but I faithfully have used this product for my face and for the years I have used it, I have never had any problems with it.

BTW, because it is gentle and easy to use I use it any time of the day to reveal new skin.

Everyone's skin is different though, so attention must be paid to how often your face can use the product on a weekly basis. I use it about twice a week in the winter and about once a week in the summer.

This scrub did not rip up or tear up my sensitive skin!! I love it!!! My skin feels SUPER BABY SOFT and SMOOTH after using it~~ It's the best SCRUB that I have found~~ most scrubs irritate my SUPER SENSITIVE ~ HIGHLY REACTIVE skin!! This product is a LIFESAVER~~ LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

I have rosacea and ridiculously sensitive skin. This gentle scrub is perfect for smoothing my skin without irritating. I use many Avene products and this is one of my favorites.

I wanted to love it. I love Avene sunscreen, which is a physical block rather than chemical. I hated the smell. Hated. On the plus side, a little bit goes a long way. I used it for a few days but felt that my Cerave, with the addition of some Queen Helene scrub, worked better and definitely smelled better. Also, I felt like I needed to use a toner (I mix witch hazel and rosewater), which sort of defeats the purpose of a cleanser.

I have sensitive, and acne-prone yet dry skin. This scrub is very gentle and makes my face feel soft and clean. I use it once a week in the shower. It doesn't break me out. Love it a lot!

I found the Avenue Gentle Purifying Scrub to be an excellent product that claifies my skin without stripping it of its natural oils. One of the best products I have ever used.

This is a great exfoliater for sensitive skin. It does not aggravate sensitive skin but is still helpful in smoothing skin without causing irritation. Works great and is worth the money if you have sensitive skin and cannot use regular scrubs. The entire Avene line is amazing if you have sensitive, reactive skin. I totally recommend it.

I use it three times a week. It works great! After the wash, skin is soft but clean.

As a "scrub' I found this not be enough or inaffective. Very, very few scrubbing particles,...and it also gave me a slight rash.
