This creamy moisturizer is light and absorbs quickly. It is also one of the only moisturizers that doesn't leave my skin looking a little blotchy and or reddened after I apply it. Extremely gentle.
I have combination, somewhat sensitive skin that has recently started suffering from redness, particularly around the T-zone. I'm using only Avene skincare to try it out and I like it a lot in just the two weeks I've used it. This lotion is very lightweight. It moisturizes but I don't feel/see it on my skin, which is ridiculously soft to the touch! I use it in the day under either mineral foundation or primer that already contains SPF, as well as in the evening. It has only a faint fragrance that doesn't smell bad at all.
This is the only product that keeps my dry, sensitive skin in check. Without it I have red irritated areas along with peeling from products too harsh for my extremely fair skin.
I'm slightly oily with skin the breaks out easily. I got this and the serum and love them both. I use this at night when I like a little more moisture. It's amazing because it isn't greasy and it sinks right in. It leaves my face feeling perfectly balanced and not heavy at all. I love it!
I started with Avene CleanAc to treat acne but since moved on to Hydrance Optimale. I have combination, sensitive skin and this lotion keeps my skin balanced and moisturized. I use mineral based sunscreen on top and I'm good to go. This is reasonably priced good quality product.
