This is a great, albeit expensive, product for ultra-dry skin But it can cause an occasional clogged pore (zit) if you use it daily over a week or more. I alternate with another less "intensive" skin cream.

I really liked the SPF version so I bought this one for winter. I thought I had dry skin but this cream made my face feel a bit greasy.
although the hydration was nice. Maybe they should mark this one for "very dry" skin. I will mix it with a lighter lotion and it will last a long time for me.

Even California winters can be harsh on dry, sensitive skin so this turned out to be the perfect solution. I use this at night because I prefer a cream with sunscreen during the day. It is never greasy, and my skins drinks it right in. I combine this with Avene Thermal Spring Water and my skin looks like a million bucks!
