we have been using this very cream for several years now and this is basically the only one really needed: dry hands/skin, diaper rashes (It really works wonders), small cuts. It also enables to heal better and prevents from scaring. A must have, especially if you have kids since it is also antiseptic. were surprised to see some people describing it like water since it is definitively not, it is a very rich white cream but it is being absorbed very quickly. Note as well that a tube goes a long way.

I tried to purchase a tube of this. It had separated in the tube, despite being more than a year to expiry. Returned to drugstore.com, asked for another tube from a different lot. They sent another tube from the same lot. Guess what? Also separated!! Returned again [...], because I can't tell if it is a problem with the product or a problem with that particular stock or a problem with the way drugstore.com stores it or what. I don't have time for this nonsense! I may try buying it again somewhere else, as I have read excellent reviews on other websites. Good luck!

I had an IPL procedure at my dermatologist's office for mild rosacea. They zapped my butterfly rash, then applied this cream after icing for 10 min. I have hypersensitive skin, and my face would not have tolerated much after this procedure! This cream helped to calm my skin down and start the process of healing. It was very gentle, and kept my skin hydrated and soft. I bought a tube when I ran out to continue using it. I recommend it.

Mine was separated as well. I didn't send it back as it's over 30-day return time frame. I seriously think the product might be defective. Drugstore.com should investigate further.

I am familiar with this product in its normal form and I love it. However, I am also having the problem of large amounts of water squirting from the tube each time I open it. I even put the lid on and massaged the tube in the hope of mixing the components more thoroughly, but to no avail. Its components appear to have separated. I would add that the cream had a slight bluish tinge to it. I have only used this product in France previously, where it is completely white. I don't know if this is a question of different ingredients due to US regulations, or just an unlucky bluish separated tube.

I had two wounds after a surgical procedure and they recommended I use a cream to prevent infection. This not only did that, but it quickly healed the area. I applied generously twice a day and the tube lasted almost 4 weeks. A great product and a great value!

I love this product! I am on accutane which leaves me with VERY dry skin. I put this cream on every night and morning and I truly think it has improved my skin. You also don't have to use a lot which makes the tube last a lot longer.

I had a very bad burn from a motorcycle on my leg, worst pain from an injury I have had in a very long time. A friends suggested the thermal spring water as burns are to stay moist. I bought this lotion along with the water and both are heaven sent!!!! I will buy all Avene products. My skin is super sensitive and with the burn both products soothed and skin is heeling better then I thought it would.

Avene is one of my pocket moisturizer. I would use it when I get a allergy (food, wether,etc. would case a allergy on me) and it nerver let me down. However,this moisturizer is more greasy than what I used to buy which is not available here.
