I had some samples of the Avene brand, and found them to be good, so branched out to try some other products. I tried a Day Cream along with this night cream. It has made my lines seem to be less noticable and my skin softer...gotta love that! Am reordering along with other Avene products to try next. Great product at a great price!

I have oily acne prone skin that is also sensitive. I often get red and peeling skin from acne treatments. I bought this cream because I thought it would help those dry places without causing acne - no such luck. After two weeks I was still peeling, and not only that, I was getting blackheads and whiteheads in the areas I applied this cream. It's very thick and and made my face feel sticky immediately after applying, and greasy a little while later. This may work well for dry skin. If you have skin like mine, you might be better off trying Mario Badescu products (not available on this website). After one night of using the nighttime seaweed cream almost all my peeling was gone and my face was so smooth.

I used this a long time ago when Blooingdales carried it. Here is the only place I can get it now. I have very sensitive skin and this helps a great deal without irritating it.

Found this cream in Buenos Aires when i had forgotten mine at home. Best mistake ever! This is a great face cream - super moisturizing without being too heavy, and great for sensitive skin. Way better than La Mer for alot less $$$

I have pretty sensitive skin, plus it's very dry. This cream is a wonderful night cream. I also like the fact that it has a very mild, pleasant smell. I hate strong smelling lotions.

i was using the light optimale hydrating cream during the summer and it was fine but felt i needed something more for the winter. after reading the other reviews, i decided to try it and am now a huge fan. i have mild rosacea on my cheeks and it helped to minimize it.
