I always had a cystic pimple or two right before my period, and only on my greasy forehead (I've always had bangs). But suddenly I had bumps all over my cheeks...it was like a rash or teen acne but years too late. Acne treatment irritated it. I thought maybe I suddenly developed allergies since it was spring (but I never sneezed...oh well). It didn't go away after a month. I went to the pharmacy a million times, and finally the lady behind the counter suggested this. (pharmacies and drugstores are separate over there btw.) It was expensive, but I was desperate. VS Most Liked Negative Review I think it's just so so! I don't know. I have been using it for 3 weeks. I didn't see any significant change on my face. I baught it because I wanted to sooth my skin. My skin is a little bit sensitive and my cheeks are always lightly red, especially after some stimulation like cold weather or something. But this product just doesn't work very well. I think the Thermal Spring Water is much better than this product. Comments about Avene Thermal Spring Water Soothing Serum, 1.01 fl oz: I have sensitive, oily/combination skin, but this winter my skin seemed so dry, so I wanted to find something for hydration that would not make may skin oily. I was in Paris and found this serum at the drug store. So I started using this serum about 2 months ago. I immediately noticed that my skin appeared to be more hydrated, and the size of the pores on my nose seem to be reduced. I love it. I'm so glad that I have found a website in the U.S. that sells Avene. Will continue to use. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Avene Thermal Spring Water Soothing Serum, 1.01 fl oz: I'm slightly oily with skin that tends to breakout easily. This is a perfect pre-moisturizer or solo hydrator. It's dense but not greasy, like your skin is drinking water. If you're dry use it before a moisturizer for more moisture but if you're sensitive or breakout, this might be all you need! Cons Best Uses Comments about Avene Thermal Spring Water Soothing Serum, 1.01 fl oz: I bought this thinking that it can't be as good as the reviews. But I am glad to know that I was wrong the the people who posted positive reviews were right. I have small non-red or white bumps on my cheeks from clogged pores or acne that routine facials were not getting rid of and exfoliating and acne treatments weren't helping. Though they are still a few, they are greatly reduced. I have only had this product for two weeks. I noticed a change after two days. But I noticed a hugh difference when I ran out during a trip last week, my face went almost back to the way it was. As of right now, I can't live without this product.
