I had high hopes for this product as I love Avene's skin care line and reviews seemed positive. I am African American and my skin tone is about the same as...lets say actress Kerry Washington. The product did not have enough pigment and made my skin look ashened or ghost-like. It also felt very dry. This is the darkest color and I have other products that are "caramel" or "honey" colored so I think some work needs to be done to the pigment of the product in order to appeal to a broader customer base that includes women of color. But overall I love Avene products! I am sorry but I have to return this one.:-(
