Overall, this is a good product. It has a lot of options to choose when you reheat your milk for baby, however, you MUST try those modes several times before you want to do it for your baby. I tried to follow the instrauction to heat my bottle from freezer, but it was too hot .
Once you take time to figure out the right modes and temperatures, it works well.

I bought this warmer b/c my breastfed baby will only take a bottle if the expressed milk is close to body temp. This one was hard to learn at first, but it's working out well in the long run. Note: hard for me equaled hard for babysitters and grandparents, too! I had to give many tutorials because the instructions are complicated and in such small print. But overall, if you use the warmer correctly, it really works well -- and it's FAST!!!

This warmer has many options! I love that it has different settings for food or milk that is either room temp, from the refrigerator or from the freezer. This really takes the guesswork out of heating, which is wonderful for those 3am feedings! It also works very quickly. I previously used the "First Years" warmer which would require more than 1 cycle of heating at times. The Avent warmer is very efficient. It is also a nice size and lightweight so it does not take up alot of counterspace. What needs improvement is the interface. It is not very intuitive, and although I think I am pretty savvy with technology, I could not figure out the process for heating the first time! There is a certain pattern for entering in the heating requirements which you must learn to program it. Once you understand the pattern you can program it very quickly. But, this is more difficult than the "First Years" warmer which has one-touch operation. (Of note, the lid must be completely closed for the unit to work!) Also, this warmer does not have a cooler attached like some other warmers do, so you can store a bottle of breastmilk in it a bring the unit to an upstairs room for a night feeding.
