My husband has dry scalp and complained that the currenct product we were using left a film on his hair. He tried this product and loved it. His hair feels clean and his dry scalp soothed. As an added bonus, it doesn't have that strong, unpleasant smell usually found in dandruff/dry scalp products. I tried it also and liked the results.
I am really disappointed in this shampoo. After the first use, my scalp was itching like crazy (more so than usual), and my hair looked dry and flyaway. I thought maybe I was just having a bad hair day, so I tried it again, twice, with the same result. Waste of money :(
I had first bought this product from our local hair salon. Once I ran out, I tried to purchase other products for my problematic scalp. The other shampooes and conditioners only made my scalp problem worse. I am very thankful that Drugstore.com carries this product. I recommend using both the shampoo and conditioner. They really do help with soothing dry and itchy scalps.
