Do not wear gel sheets while swimming or bathing or if skin around the scar is draining, infected or damaged with openings like an open sore.

Place gel pad over the scar area for a minimum of 12 to 18 hours daily to reduce symptoms of scarring and flatten contours of the scar. As scars respond to Avogel, you may notice changes, typically 1-2 weeks after the first application, depending on the age of the scar.
