The Ayr gel mist along with Mucinex helped me breathe during the weeks before I had my allergy tests when I couldn't use Sudafed or antihistimines. And now even though I use a nasal cortisone spray, antihistimines and Mucinex I continue to use it when I "stuff up" . It's soothing and helps relieve the pressure in my nasal passages. Like someone else mentioned, the amount of gel in the bottle seems very small and you go through a bottle quickly. I started buying it two at a time, so that makes it fairly expensive at least when it comes to saline sprays; But if it works better, then you buy it. And drugstore.com seems to be theonly carrying it.

Having the gel with the liquid keeps the nasal passages moist longer and helps seal blood vessels near to the surface.

My ENT surgeon recommended this as ongoing care following sinus surgery. Three years later I still rely on it to relieve dryness. Fantastic stuff as it doesn't drip like the regular sinus sprays and is non-addictive.

My dr. recommended using this when my sinus are irritated and bleeding instead of my normal nasal spray. It works great to relieve the dryness and irritation. I have given this product to others who have the same problem.

Comments about Ayr Saline Nasal Gel, No-Drip Sinus Spray, .75 fl oz:

I have chronically dry nasal passages and am always getting bloody noses during allergy season. Saline nasal spray helps, but having it run down the back of your throat is very unpleasant. I love this stuff because it sprays well and stays put where it is supposed to without running down the back of your throat. Will definitely buy again.

This nasal gel spray is amazing. I suffer from allergies and nasal dryness and soreness due to dry heat. This product relieves symptoms so well that I seldom take medications now. Thanks.

My daughter uses this product. She used to get nose bleeds quite often, especially in the winter because of the heat. After using Ayr, she stopped having nose bleeds. The no-drip is great! I used to find this product at my local drugstore, but they stopped carrying it. Luckily, drugstore.com carries it so we didn't have to look for something else.
