I bought this product last week, hoping it would relieve some of the crusty, dry sinuses I have experienced here in CO. In the past I have used Vicks to keep my sinuses moist, but figured I would try something that actually advertises as doing the job. Honestly, I smeared it on as advertised, and within an hour it was dry, and I had this weird feeling in my nostrils. I guess I was hoping for a miracle drug to cure my dry sinuses, but this one definitely didn't do it. After using it for a week, I am going back to using Vicks. I admit Ayr did a better job than nothing at all, but there are better things out there... It's very soothing and has a pleasant, neutral smell (very important for something you put in your nose!) I always keep a tube of this with me. Highly recommended! Order it online and save! This product is the best I've found for soothing my nose and helping me breath easier. Just put a small amount in each nostril and provides me with 8 hours or more of relief. Thankfully (everything happens for a reason) I ran out of money and really needed something when my nose was so dry I couldn't sleep. I tried this gel. Haven't been without it since. This size last a really long time, great for all uses listed, everyone should use this to sleep better. That's just my opinion. Try this product, you won't regret it. I use it in each nostril every night before bed to help keep my nose from getting so dry during the night. No risk of inhaling petroleum products into the lungs (as may occur with use of vaseline in nostrils). I prevents the inside of my nose and nasal passages from getting too dry due to living in air conditioning. I also use a saline spray sometimes before applying. The only negative would be that you have to put the gel on the end of your finger or cotton swab and apply it to the inside of your nose, but I'm used to it so it doesn't bother me.
