Babies tend to have very sensitive skin and can be prone to everything from dry skin to diaper rash, baby acne, and more.  Did you know that there’s a lot of popular skin care products available that will help your baby’s skin?

For diaper rash, there are several products out there to choose from.  Two of the most popular brands are Desitin and A + D.  Desitin Creamy Diaper Rash Ointment helps to heal and prevent diaper rash with zinc oxide, aloe, and Vitamin E.  It also helps seal out the wetness that often causes diaper rash without becoming sticky.  A little of this smooth gliding ointment goes a long way and works fast.  A + D Original Ointment is a diaper rash and all-purpose skin care product.  It contains petrolatum and lanolin to seal out wetness and let the skin heal naturally.  It can be used for diaper rash, dry, cracked, or irritated skin and also for sunburn and windburn.

Another great multi-use cleanser is Mustela Bebe 2-in-1 Hair & Body Wash.  It is also tearless and can cleanse and moisturize baby’s skin and hair.  It even compensates for hard water by using coconut derivatives to soften and leaves a delicate scent.

And, of course, one of the best tried and true products for baby’s skin is Vaseline Petroleum Jelly.  Vaseline melts into the skin and moisturizes as well as protects.  It also helps prevent diaper rash.  Another great use for Vaseline is to put it on baby’s nose to prevent cracking and bleeding from cold and dry weather.  It’s also great for many other uses that help out mom and dad!  It reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and can remove eye makeup.  This is definitely a great product the whole family can benefit from!
