This little set is so perfect that I bought two! I had been eyeing this at our local toy store, but the cost seemed quite high for what it is. I contined to "look around," and always came back to this set. I finally purchased it,and put it to use for the first time. I was amazed at how well our little 15 month old grandson did with it. The spoons fit his chubby little hands perfectly, and the design of the plate make scooping a breeze especially for things like applesause and other thick pureed food, junior baby food, etc. Food that will stick to the spoon and scoop easily are perfect starter foods for this set. We have not moved on to more challenging foods yet, until he learns how to hold the spoon correctly all the way to his mouth. He feels like such a big boy using this set! Once I saw how well he did with it, I purchased another set online for him to have at home. That's how great I think it is. I was hesitant to buy one, and ended up buying two. I am not a consumer who is easly sold by gadgets and gizmos, but this product is great!

This is a miserable product. My baby has no problem tipping the bowl over, and in fact, is much more interested in tipping it over than eating what is in the bowl (no matter what it is). The spoons are fine, but so are the normal spoons we use to serve ourselves. Waste of money!

After trying other plate/spoon combos, this Baby Bjorn set is a winner! The plate stays in place much better than the suction-based plate I tried. And the plate's shape makes it hard for my 16-month-old daughter to pick up and launch it across the table. The sides of the plate are just high enough that most of the food stays on the plate and the area around the plate stays quite clean. The spoons are the perfect size to fit in my daughter's hands. Their shape makes it easy for her to scoop food. She must really enjoy using the spoons, because sometimes I catch her picking up food with her fingers, placing it on the spoon, then putting the spoon to her mouth. I'm buying two more sets!

This set is a bit pricey, but well worth it. The bowl cannot tip (unless forceably flipped over)...and the grooves in the bowl along with the wide flat spoon help the toddler to gain control when eating. I have not found a similar product anywhere!
The BABYBJ�RN Plate and Spoon can be used in a microwave oven at low heat, max 90°C. Warming at low heat extends the plate’s life. We recommend only warming the food in the microwave, not preparing or cooking it there. The BABYBJ�RN Plate and Spoon are easy to clean and dishwasher-safe. However, avoid placing them near the dishwasher’s heating coil.
