We really like BabyGanics Coverup because it has several types of sun protection without fragrance. It stays on in water. The zinc oxide is opaque white, part of the effectiveness. It isn't a clear sun screen, but we like the way it works.

Although my kids are not hypersensitive to sunscreen, their grandmother is. She breaks out in rashes when she applies sunscreen on the kids. Hence, I was adamant to find one that did not give her grief also safe for the kids. My best bet was organic sunscreens. I used California Baby at first & then Little Twig but at ~ $20 a tube, it was getting expensive. I have to leave a tube for each child at school as well.

I don't have problems with applying this on my kids at all, even on their faces. Thin layer does not do it for me. I use it everywhere their skin is exposed to sun. They are never red or burnt. This is the 2nd summer we've used this brand. We have never had a problem. Grandma does not complain either. I am confident that my kids are safe from the sun and harmful chemicals.

This stuff sucks. It gave my baby a rash on his face and it does not rub in. Might work well as white face paint for halloween but nothing else.

You have to rub it in a little extra or it leaves white streaks, but it works great. My toddler is very fair, and we went to Florida with this sunscreen and he never got a bit of pink. Works very well. I use it on my face, too.

I checked the EWG Cosmetic Database and found that BabyGanics has the safest rating with the highest SPF.

The sunscreen is awful! It doesn't blend in at all. It left me and my family with a white film on our skin that was even visible in pictures from our vacation.
