First lets get the bad out there then I can spend more time on the good!1.) It is a bit harder to mix than most other formulas but it's not that much worse really. The best method for mixing is to stir with either a spoon or a formula stirrer. Don't shake or you will get a foam on top. I usually make 28 oz batches and keep it in the fridge. This is a whole days worth of formula. I just gently shake the container before pouring into the bottle. This pretty much eliminates any foam or clump issues.2.) No scoop. I don't think it's really a big deal especially if you mix it in a larger batch like I do. I will help you out a bit though. I did a test on the Similac scoop and found that it is exactly the amount you need to make 2 ounces of formula. So the Similac scoop will work in this just the same as it does in the Similac formula. One scoop for each 2 ounces of water. Problem solved!Try to remember that they aren't skimping on money or trying to make your life harder by not providing a scoop. They are simply trying to avoid providing something that will leach chemicals into your baby's formula. We should be saying thanks instead of whining about it.OK not too much cons really huh?! So that must mean the pros are great. You're right!First this formula is totally organic, how awesome is that! It's priced very well for what it is. Thanks to no advertising. Second, there is no high fructose corn syrup or sugar. Do you know how disappointed I was when I went to the store to find a formula to supplement while I waited for this milk to arrive. Every dang one had 'corn syrup solids' within the first 2 to 3 ingredients. Some had it as the first ingredient. How horrible. Thirdly, my son was one of those babies who didn't do well with formula. We had non-stop gas and spit up issues and we tried several formulas. Upon strong urging I tried this formula and was amazed at how well he did on it. It did take about 48 hours for the whole spit-up issue to resolve itself but I did notice right away that the amount of spit up was less. His gas issue also resolved itself within that 48 hours too. The first thing you'll notice is the smell of this formula and the rich texture of the powder. It's so creamy and it smells good. I hadn't realized how nasty formulas smelled until that day that I had to supplement (I used enfamil premium that day) when I was waiting to get the shipment for this formula. They are horrible. He refused to drink that formula too because of the taste. He took one sip and gagged and threw the bottle down. I had to keep him full by baby food and apple juice since he refused the formula. The biggest smell difference is in the soy formula vs. other soy formulas. The smell and taste is absolutely amazing. It's almost a bit vanilla. It's just amazing. So if your baby is a soy drinker you'll be shocked when you open the Baby's Only soy and get a whiff. It smells delicious! My son's pediatrician had never heard of this formula so I brought her in a can and a printout so she could keep it for use later if she needed. When she say the label she smiled, when she opened the can she looked very curious, and when she felt the powder she looked amazed! She started raving about how great this is and how she couldn't believe she had never heard of it. She took all the info off of the can and got the website info from me so she could contact the company to see about getting pamphlets or samples in her office for babies that have formula issues or for mom's that are having trouble breastfeeding but don't want to use formula. She absolutely LOVED this formula and gave me a big pat on the back for having found it. I love this formula and will only use this formula for any children I have in the future. I highly recommend you give this a try. If you are skeptical. Just call or email the company and tell them that you would like to try the formula but you'd like a sample. They were really nice to me when I switched from the soy to the dairy. I just emailed them told them I was thinking of switching to soy and that I needed to try it for a full day to see if it really was going to work out. I told them how many ounces my son drank in 24 hours and they sent me enough packets (each makes 4 oz of formula) to make it 24 hours. This was free [...]. Truly a wonderful company. I used the product daily for 2 weeks and my daughter, 6 weeks old, developed terrible constipation. I had to give her prune juice in order to make her go. No improvement until I switched formulas. I am disappointed as I wanted to use an organic DHA alternative formula and there is nothing else out there.

Comments about Baby's Only Organic Toddler Formula Powder, Dairy Based, 12.7 oz:

I ordered this because I want to try all organic formulas available. Also, I normally use Similac & they had a recall of all powders, so I thought it was a good time to try this. I knew from other reviewers, that although can states "toddler formula" that it was used for babies under one. Because of my paranoid personality, I called the company to find out why they put "toddler formula" on the can. The woman who called was very sweet & said that they put that on the can to encourage breast feeding until the baby is at least one year old. She said that there is no reason not to feed it to an infant and that they go by the set standards required for infant formula ingredients. I felt reassured that it would be ok for my baby. I have to say it is the best smelling formula I've tried. Usually they have that icky protein-powder smell, but this one had a nice vanilla fragrance! I thought that it may taste different, but the baby sucked it right down. I highly recommend this formula.

This is a GREAT TASTING choice for any child over 12 months, I have been using it for 6+ months now, my 19 month old LOVES it, no chemical smell or taste as in other name brand formulas, truly, this should set the bar for what formulas should be like. Has all the features moms want, probiotics, DHA, etc, and it keeps well. I will buy this for all my kids in this age group in the future. HIGHLY recommend it to all label reading parents out there. My child smiled really big the first time he tasted it, always hated formula before this. And, my can came with a spoon, maybe they have begun adding the plastic spoons without the leaching chemicals...I just wish they sold bigger cans but perhaps they don't to keep the product fresh. :)

Comments about Baby's Only Organic Toddler Formula Powder, Dairy Based, 12.7 oz:

I loved the idea that this baby formula is organic, and probably the best one on the market. After reading several things about the way Similac Organic and Earth's Best derive the DHA, I was convinced to buy the Baby's Only, as the others use hexane and bleaching. This formula is marketed as a "toddler" formula. However I decided to try it based on other reviews. Didn't work well at all for my baby (2 month old). In fact, she had her first issue with constipation after I switched her very gradually. And she was extremely gassy. I would definitely try this formula again later, as I am thinking it may be difficult for infants to digest.

Our 6 month old daughter likes this and it smells way better than other formulas. Read up on this formula and you'll be sure to switch FOR THE BETTER! SO glad Drugstore.com is carrying this product!!!

I feel safe giving this to my 6 month old little girl when I need to supplement. I highly recommend checking out the company's website SO much informative information that will open your eyes and you'll want to switch to this outstanding formula! Hard to find in stores that's why I buy it here at drugstore.com.

Comments about Baby's Only Organic Toddler Formula Powder, Dairy Based, 12.7 oz:

It's so nice that it's not filled with things that should just NOT be in formula.
No ingredients are purchased from China.
              Contains no palm oil.

My daughter much prefers the taste of this formula than what we were using before (similac advance) She also is no longer constipated and does NOT spit up.

I also am impressed that they don't use corn syrup to sweeten their formulas. It's brown rice syrup which is a better carbohydrate than most use.

In response to no added DHA/ARA this is found on their website so it is not lacking.. and who wants DHA/ARA made by martex which is derived from laboratory-grown fermented algae and fungus and processed utilizing a toxic chemical, hexane ....anyway? It contains alpha-linolenic acids that the body converts naturally into DHA/ARA. If for some reason you don't feel that's enough the same company also makes a DHA/ARA supplement.

Baby's Only Organic® pediatric formulas contain two essential (precursor) fats: Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA) and Linoleic Acid (LA). Alpha-Linolenic and Linoleic fatty acids are called "essential" because the human body cannot make these fats and therefore it is essential to derive them from food sources. Alpha-Linolenic Acid is an omega-3 used by the body to make Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA). Linoleic Acid is an omega-6 used by the body to make Arachidonic Acid (ARA). DHA and ARA are called "non-essential" fatty acids because full-term, healthy infants, children, and adults can manufacture these from Alpha-Linolenic and Linoleic fatty acids.

Don't be scared off by the "Toddler" labeling on this formula - the reason it says toddler is that they recommend that your baby be fed only breastmilk for the first year so therefore this formula should be used for babies over 12 months. My breastfed baby used to get an occasional bottle of Nestle Good Start when I would leave her with my husband but this is our new formula for good. My daughter drank this SO fast. She LOVED it! And it didn't do anything bad to her system! I highly recommend this! I love that there isn't a plastic scoop leaching chemicals into the formula either.
