She has behavioral issues, and likes to urinate on bedding that smells like people she doesn't like, or if she is at my parent's house, anywhere. I was using the amitriptyline for her "behavior," but this stuff works better. I also use it on my rescued dog, who suffers from separation anxiety any time I leave him alone. I have found the greatest change in my kitty though.When I bought it the first time, the clerk suggested I use it myself. I must have looked extremely stressed out. I had been searching for it in 7 different stores, all over town before I found it.If you are worried about the alcohol content, they do make a children's version of this, without the alcohol. I also bought this thinking it would be convenient to carry around and use when I had cravings. Boy was I wrong! I don't know if this works to calm you down, because the alcohol just made me more anxious. Just thought I would warn people about this. Usually I feel better right away. It may be a placebo effect but it does calm me most of the to meI use it. May have to do with the bit of alcohol in it. I used to take tranquilizers but have gone to alternative solutions for health reasons. Pros

Just a few quick squirts and she is mellowed out. This works well for a pending storm. Safe and not addicting. Makes one feel better to see your dog not so stressed and can relax. Pros

She is now six and it works great for separation issues and anxiety. If you have to give a presentation, try Rescue Remedy. Having PMS issues, try this product. Nervousness before a test, this will balance you. Great for any type of stressful situation without drowsiness side effects. This is a must have for parents of young children. Pros

Since then, I never found it to do anything, so perhaps the first time was merely a placebo effect. Yes, the taste is quite strong, but it dissipates quickly, which is about the only good thing I have to say for it. Sorry. Pros

But, I do find that if I use it when I know I will be facing a stressful situation or even during the situation, it helps calm me down. I've even used it during mild panic attacks and it has helped. It's also safe to use with pets who get nervous or anxious. Great product! Pros
