I don't have much trouble without household odors, but one place that gets a little bit of a stale smell are closets w/ the doors closed 99% of the time, like the coat closet. I put one of these on a shelf in each closet, and unlike some cheaper alternatives, these leave no strong, cloying odor of their own behind. They really do just absorb the musty smell. I also put one at the bottom of our big kitchen trashcan & next to the litter box (this has got a lid that's grated, so the cat can't get into the product at all & get hurt in any way). I have allergies to many fragrances & household cleaners- these do not bother my eyes, sinuses or lungs at all.

We use this product in are cellar for dampness. It seems to have taken some of the damp odor out. There are some day's though that you can detect a slight odor.

Just a great product! Have been looking for something like this for years. Wherever I use it, it smells fresh (litter box area, bathroom) Love it!

Works great for normal home,office, car and apartment odors; it's easy and fast to use. However, if you have especially difficult odors it just doesn't seem to cut the mustard. It will help but not completely rid you of the problem. For example, I had a bad musty, sour-like scent in my apartment for a few months and while it lessened the problem, it did not clear up the problem. Also, after cooking fish or heavy smellling foods, it takes much longer than I would like to rid the area of that lingering smell. Still, over-all a great product for absorbing odors.

I originally bought one of these to deal with cat box odors in my 500sq ft apartment. It's an old building with plaster walls and the ammonia smell had seeped INTO THE WALLS. But the first time my asthmatic and hypersensitive sister visited me after I started using it, she actually looked around and said, "It doesn't smell like cat in here at all!" So when I spilled an old cup of coffee with rancid milk in my office, making it stink like WOAH (as in, people asked me to close my office door because it was making the whole hallway smell), I took a BAS in and within a day it made my office habitable again, where enzyme sprays and air freshener hadn't made a dent. I'm totally sold on these. Definitely worth the money.

I used two of these to get rid of the beer and cigarette odors in a rental property. It began working immediately and did a wonderful job of absorbing the odors. It does have a slight fragrance that I did not love, but was way better than the odors I encountered when cleaning.

This is the best air freshner I have ever found.Will def. be purchasing again.I have two dogs and a cat and this stuff really works at eliminating odors.We also smoke and it takes care of that,too!!

I purchased this hoping to get rid of a terrible feline urine odor where my cats had used the hall instead of their litterboxes. I discovered BY ACCIDENT that wherever I placed it it completely deterred this behavior! I had tried EVERYTHING - sticky paper, tin foil, nothing worked! But it has now been 5 days that I have had a sponge placed on the floor in TWO locations and none of my cats has urinated there even once! I am thrilled. The odor it emits is mild and pleasant but apparently not to cats! LOL

Place under beds, in closets, in suitcases while storing, in basement, in bedrooms, under sinks - not toxic, not a cover-up, not a mess - worth every penny. Have tried many other products, don't waste your money on the other stuff.

I love this product and have been using it for several years. I place 1 in my living room, 1 in each bathroom, 1 in kitchen and 2 in the basement. No fragrance; allergic to fragrances. With 2 cats and a few daycare kids the house smells great when I use this air freshner.
