Unfortunately, it is the greasiest muscle rub I have ever used, and doesn't absorb well (if at all) into the skin. I would not recommend this as a product to be applied under clothing for this reason. I would also not recommend putting this on before going to sleep unless you don't mind it getting on your bed sheets. REVIEWS Reviewed by 26 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 11-20 Pros

Comments about Badger Balm, Sore Muscle Rub, 2 oz: This product has a pleasant odor and does a surprisingly good job (given it doesn't heat up) at relaxing tense/pulled muscles. Comments about Badger Balm, Sore Muscle Rub, 2 oz: I have to admit, I was skeptical that an all-natural product would be able to alleviate muscle soreness. This product is absolutely amazing. I have a lot of knee problems, and anytime I run more than 4 miles my knees get tight and swell up. When I use this after a run, the pain and tightness disappear almost immediately (much better than icy-hot). I bought a tin for my dad to use as an alternative to Bengay (because this stuff doesn't have a strong smell) and he loves it now too. My mom rubbed it on his back and then rubbed the excess into her hands, and realized that it helped alleviate her arthritis pain. My whole family is addicted to this stuff now because it works so well. I highly recommend this muscle rub. Comments about Badger Balm, Sore Muscle Rub, 2 oz: The first time I used this was on my husbands leg cramp which usually takes a long while to subside. He was laying there moaning as it kept getting worse. I rubbed some in for a couple of minutes and the cramping stopped, he drifted off to sleep. A couple of days later I rubbed it on his back which he wrenched carrying wood for our fireplace before he went to work. An hour and a half later the pain was gone. It also relieved the pain in my son's lower back. I doubt it's a coincidence. It's too soon to tell if it will continue to do so well but for our first try it sure gets 5 stars from us. I can't tell you the times we've used Icy Hot and waited and burned. So, were impressed thus far! Works. No Freeze or Burn. Smells pleasant. Comments about Badger Balm, Sore Muscle Rub, 2 oz: Excellent product. A medicine cabinet staple. Doesn't sting like many topical muscle rubs, but very effective. Comments about Badger Balm, Sore Muscle Rub, 2 oz: I love this stuff. The best part is not having that "icy-hot" feeling when you apply it, just comfort. Plus, it smells yummy, not medicinal! Comments about Badger Balm, Sore Muscle Rub, 2 oz: I love this product. My hands sometimes ache very badly, and I rub this in and it goes away. Smells good too. Comments about Badger Balm, Sore Muscle Rub, 2 oz: I think this product is great. I am training for my first marathon and have found massaging this balm on my sore muscles before bedtime makes all the difference in the morning. And the added benefit is that it does this without the hot/cold effect or the medicinal scent! Comments about Badger Balm, Sore Muscle Rub, 2 oz: This stuff works. I've used it for a tired, achy back, and I experience relief almost as soon as I rub it in. Has an interesting scent - pleasant, just with some unidentifiable spices in it. Comments about Badger Balm, Sore Muscle Rub, 2 oz: Doesn't do anything for sore muscles. Smells gorgeous. Comments about Badger Balm, Sore Muscle Rub, 2 oz: I don't use this as intended, I use it on my feet in the winter (cover w/socks). It helps heal my cracked heels. I also use it on my cuticles and hands (it burned my lips). Smells delicious - like Indian spices! Displaying reviews 11-20 ![]() |
