Comments about Badger Broad Spectrum Sport Sunscreen, SPF 35, Unscented, 2.9 oz:

I bought this sunscreen specifically for use in Akumal where some of the places specifically recommended reef-friendly sunscreen. It was very effective and did stay on all day; however, I am looking for another alternative because it is a thick white coating, smells weird and was hard to remove even in the shower. It was very thick so it was difficult to put on with even coverage and left us looking a bit like a couple of mimes.

Comments about Badger Broad Spectrum Sport Sunscreen, SPF 35, Unscented, 2.9 oz:

I wanted to buy an all-natural sunscreen and this was recommended on a website. I used it once and will never use it again. It is extremely thick and doesn't spread well. I always tan and hardly ever burn but with this product, I had a sunburn. I could not wash the product off in the shower. I washed my body 3 times and my boyfriend said he did the same. We still had the product on us the next day. It left a film on our skin. The product left white stains on the leather seats in my car and I still can't get the product off after buffing it with a microfiber and using car products. I STRONGLY ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT. You will be disappointed if you do.

After trying several different sunscreens on my face and arms (usually different ones), this is a great all-purpose sunscreen. I use this every day, with and without makeup. It's thicker than most sunscreen, so you don't have to use much, and you can see where you are applying it. I love that it's made all of ingredients I recognize, and that it doesn't cause my sensitive skin to breakout. Highly recommended.

Comments about Badger Broad Spectrum Sport Sunscreen, SPF 35, Unscented, 2.9 oz:

Badger is the only sunscreen that my family and I use. It works so well and it is non-toxic. I have noticed that most of my sun worshipping spots on my face (before sunscreen days) have went away since I have started using Badger products. This is a thick sunscreen so you have to rub it in. I see this as a pro rather then a con because the sunscreen moisturizes, protects your skin from the elements and acts as a good foundation for makeup. I have only bought "unscented", I think the natural smell of the product smells good.

Comments about Badger Broad Spectrum Sport Sunscreen, SPF 35, Unscented, 2.9 oz:

This brand is the only sunscreen my skin tolerates. I get bad contact dermatitis rashes any time I use other sunscreens and I have good results (no stinging rashes!) from Badger, so I have tried pretty much all their sunscreens. This one is similar to the others but maybe a bit heavier and greasier, although they are all pretty heavy and greasy.

For those of you who like the idea of Badger's sunscreens but hate the scent of the original and even the original unscented, this one smells faintly like chocolate chips. I'm not sure why, but I'm not the only one who noticed it so I'm sure it isn't my imagination. ;-)

As with most titanium dioxide products, this is most effective if you DON'T try to rub it in completely. The good part of this is that it's easy to tell if you've missed a spot, and it is also really effective. The bad part is that you'll have that silvery ghostly sheen for hours until it does start to rub off, at which time you need to refresh it.

This stuff (the water-resistant "sport" version) has some serious staying power and took some effort to wash off completely later.

My only problem came on a day when it got rubbed off on my shoulders over time during the day and I forgot to refresh it. There were clear lines between the places where it had rubbed off and the places where it had stayed.

My nieces liked the chocolate chip smell but complained about the stickiness.

I would rather have a greasy product that protects me and doesn't cause a rash than a non-greasy one that either doesn't work or causes worse problems than it solves, so I don't mind, but I really wish they could make a product that was as good without the stickiness. :-)

Yes, it does give a whitish cast but that's what you have to sacrifice for superior protection without chemicals. I wore it all day, multiple days at Disney World and didn't get any sun. It is thick and greasy but worth it if you want total protection.
