I really want to like this product. In terms of ingredient safety, it's great. But I give up. It's just too greasy. Gotta find something else.

Comments about Badger Lightly Scented Sunscreen SPF 15, Lavender, 2.9 oz:

I've been using this nearly daily for over 3 years as a facial moisturizer (for the record, I do not use make-up). Yes, a little greasy, but that's what makes it a good moisturizer, and to use it daily on face and neck provides a good base towards sun protection. Because it is SPF 15, there is a justification towards "beefing it up" a bit when one is really exposed to the sun - hat, re-application, maybe a stronger SPF rating. I have not experienced the break-outs that others have complained about. My only complaint is that sometimes I come across a tube that seems to have gone beyond its shelf life a bit - the sunscreen seems a bit more oily, and won't emulsify well with the rest of the ingredients, and the aroma is "off", like the oils have gone a bit rancid. Other than that, I really like using this product!

If I put on a layer of moisturizer before I put on this badger, it is not that hard to rub in. But i got rashes on my arms, and got acne on my face after I use it. Thus I have to stop using it.

I was having problems with my regular sunscreen. After a couple of days of repeated use I would breakout. With Badger sunscreen, so far I have been breakout free. It seems to be a great product for sensitive skin.

It rubs in as well as any other titanium product - it is still thick and white, but we didn't like the smell at all.

This product was recommended to me by a friend who uses it for her children. We both want to keep as many harsh chemicals out of our homes as possible, and many sunscreens are loaded with them. After much review, we both agree that Badger products work best. My son is 8 months old and this is the only sunscreen I've applied to him and living in Southern California, we are outdoors often. He has never burned. The product has a nice aroma, but it is difficult to rub in. Fortunately, my baby loves massages so a little extra rub isn't a problem. I use it on my face and arms as well and have only positive things to say about it.

I walk several miles outside on most days. I use Badger Sunscreen on my face and I never burn. It was hard to find a product that does not burn my eyes as most chemical sunscreens do. This product fits the bill, no skin burn and no eye burn. In addition, the ingredients are all good for my skin and not toxic. It would be nice if it was less expensive, but it's worth it to me.
