I can feel my lips "shriveling" underneath the slickness of the product. It coats them, but doesn't seem to penetrate. One of the ingredients, and I need to figure out which one, because I have glosses and lipsticks that do the same thing, seems to actively dry my lips out. Your mileage may vary.

This lip balm is so much better than others out there, esp. Commercial products. It lasts much longer, feels better and keeps the lips mois for a long time. Unlike commercial brands it doesn't leave your lips dryer than before when it wears off. The only drawback is that it doesn't have sunscreen.
