Purchased this for our trip to the beach. I wanted something to apply quickly to my boys face. The very first time I applied this it was chalky hard to apply and the smelled alone was awful! Very difficult to apply and after the first two uses I ended up throwing it away because it was not easy to apply and it smelled so bad. One of my boys said it smells like chalk and eggs mixed together. Not worth the money at all! don't buy, there are other products available for the same money!

it is very convenient to carry and it is fragrance free and effective; however, it does leave a bit of white residue.

One of the safest according to the Environmental Working Group's sunscreen ratings. Also one of the few that keeps my redheaded daughter from burning. Stays on very very well. It is white, but we just ignore that.

Basically this is the ideal lotion because it doesn't have the dreaded benzone family in there or sulfate or any extras that harm you. Plus if you look around it is very hard to find these qualities along with loads more zinc then what you find in most other sunscreens. It does seem like you're not mixing much because of the stick form, however, the fact is that you are mixing lotion in weather you realize it or not. And you don't have to be covered to the point of being white from the cream to be effective. Also, remember to reapply often.

I love safe and natural products and was eager to try Badger sunscreen, especially since it is rated very highly by the EWG. I don't doubt it's effectiveness and coverage. I do have combination-oily skin, however, and often had difficulty applying. When rubbing it in to absorb it would often pill if my cheeks were a bit dry, and didn't absorb well on my oily areas. It was also difficult to rub in, appearing opaquely white, was more visible when my face sweat, and it had a slight smell that might put off some. I won't be using it anymore, but it may work well with other skin types, and it is a good feeling knowing that the product I am using is safe and natural.

I use this product daily for sun protection on my lips and nose. It's also great for your ears when you'll be out in the sun all day.

This sunscreen is pretty convenient when you're outside with no time to squeeze sunscreen out of a tube. So far I only used it once but it has been pretty good and can easily blend into your skin.

Finally, Badger has a stick easy to apply to lips and face for my toddler and I. It is thick and requires rubbing in the white but the convenience is worth it. I got 3 to keep in my bag, the dresser, and by the front door.

Great spf for the face if you want heavy coverage, but it will make you look like the joker. It's worth it to protect your face if you'll be in direct sun exposure for any duration. The stick is so convenient.
