The dispenser attaches to the leash and carries the bags. They're easy to get out of the dispenser, but can be tricky to open, sometimes. (Picture opening the end of a produce bag.) The dog can sometimes get impatient while I open the bag and collect her waste. Getting the bag into the dispenser can be tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it's not a problem. Overall, the bags are easy and convenient to use--once you've figured out the best way to handle them. They're inexpensive, portable, and there when I need them, so I recommend giving them a try. They're certainly better than a "pooper scooper!"

These had been the best bags ever. Then the company got cheap. Actually, to be fair, the price of oil skyrocketed (all the new printed money, you know...). BoB shortened all their bags by two important inches. That matters if you have a "large load" or large hands. Some of the bags began to have quality issues, most notably that the bottom seam is sometimes sealed in the middle of the bag and no longer at the bottom---rendering the bag useless. These blue ones began to be made with tie flaps (think Glad Quick Tie Bags), which made these shortened bags' usable area even shorter.

BoB does sell a few other types of bags not offered here at this writing. They are still shorter but don't have the ties, so they give you a bit more space than these. They would (at this time of writing, again, as BoB may change this) be their scented bags and their "dark" bags (the black/gray packs).

If you, like I, have a large dog, then my two other options not sold here are an alternative. If you have large hands, ditto. If you have a small pup or kitty and small hands, then these bags are a good choice, even the best choice out there (aside from the quality control issues that are creeping up). I have looked high and low. I cannot find the same old length of 14 inches anymore in any brand's bag. Twelve inches is now the longest bag I have found to date (that is the length of these bags here), and I have spent hours looking the web.

These don't tear on grass or gravel like some of the other biodegradable bags. They don't have any scent added to them either which I find nauseating.

They used to be fantastic, but something changed.
Many times they tear poorly - not along the perforations (wasting bags) and they are harder to open now. I suspect something changed in the manufacturing, possibly using lower grade materials? Sad to see this and I no longer use this brand.

I continue to use the carrier that attaches to the leash - that is very convenient.

While I hate using plastic bags of any kind, I know no other way of disposing of dog waste away from home. Having said that, these bags are the best I've used since I got my dog nearly three years ago. I tried the less expensive options but they ripped at the seam and easily got holes in them, rendering them unusable. The Bags On Board brand are VERY durable, they tear neatly at the perforations, and are the perfect size for whatever the dog leaves behind. The rolls are the standard size so they fit in the bag container I already had for the leash. I gave it four stars only because they are on the pricey side.

generally a good bag. I find the bag a little too short. I have greyhounds and the bags I use are generally long. Yours is strong and in a pinch very useful.

I have tried several different brands of bags and these are by far the best quality so I dont mind spending a little more for them. Its important to me that I can use just one bag per scoop and not worry about them being too thin or breaking. I would like if they had a nice scent like Ive seen in other bags, but overall no complaints!
