The day after, I applied it, wondering if it was the orange day, but it stayed natural and I went darker. The third day it starts getting orange, so I let pass a few days before another aplication. It smells good when you apply but after it sets it starts giving you the scent but not very strong. One bad thing it's that definitely it has to be put with gloves,since I washed my hands several times after aplication and they still stained. I did a heavier application the next day and liked the color. However, if I applied 2 days in a row, I had obvious streaks. So every other day worked better. I stopped using for a few days and there were definite streaks as it faded. No bad smell at all. I had no problem with knees and ankles being too dark, just my inability to apply evenly on my ankles. Sometimes a nail turns a little orange but just remember to wash hands afterward. Absolutely love this product, couldn't find for a while & was really bummed. Bought an extra one, just in case. The "beauty detective" columnist in our local newspaper researched it and reported this product was discontinued by Bain de Soleil -- so I lost hope. I'm not sure if Drugstore just came across extra stock or if the company heard the customers whining and began producing it again, but I'm glad it's available for now and hope Drugstore continues to carry it. I absolutely love the color the self-tanner gives....it's great to be in the sun with some protection while developing beautiful color at the same time. Pros

I tried this and it works real well too. I still burn though and I can't really apply anything to myself without it running into my eyes.
