I have been using this product for many years. It gives a beautiful tan. Just remember to start off with high SPF to get a base tan. Burning the skin is what really causes skin damage! By the time you are able to use SPF4 you should have a base. I'm trying their SPF10 spray because I can't find the gelee in SPF8.

This gel goes on smoothly and evenly. I use it after shaving my legs and it gives a sheen and goes in the skin to soften as the day goes on. I have used this product for many, many years and have been pleased with the results when sunbathing.

I don't tan much anymore, but like my legs to have a little color. This product gives a lovely tan that looks natural.

Not everyone will like it.works better than any new product I've used for a safe even tan. At one time it was the only product seen at vacation pool spots. Not as good at the beach because the sand will stick to it.

I have darker skin to begin with and this really gives me a very nice dark tan. The fragrance is heavenly !!

I've got "Irish" skin, and this is the only product that actually lets my skin tan nicely.

I wish this product came in a bottle, not a tube, and that it was bigger! Kind of hard to squeeze it out when it gets down there.

I just rediscovered Bain de Soleil--partly b/c I'm actually going for the deep tan look after a long hiatus--and am so stoked b/c I'm having major nostalgia for the late 70's. and what other product out there is the epitome of the 70's beach/pool/sun scene aside from Bain de Soleil? well, I suppose there are some but not for the hardcore, hip crowd. I see many people comment on the packaging and the metal tubing--I surely would be disappointed to see this change as it is how I used it in the late 70's. I understand the disadvantage but we figured it out then we can figure out now.... LOVE IT and hope they redistribute the lowest SPF of 2--that was my ultimate fave!
