Do not overspray, no need. Just a light spray all over and it lasts all day. It sprays on very evenly and doesn't stick to you like other sprays, you can rub it in if you want to but no need, it seeps in nicely. You can apply after swimming but I find I don't have to. The SPF4 gives enough protection for me on my body, I use a higher SPF on my face and neck area. I can't get enough of this product and am planning to stock up because it's hard to find in the stores. This spray is awesome. Sprays on very evenly and comes in a SPF4 and SPF8 or 10, not sure. I buy the SPF4 and use it all over my body. It's not like some other sprays I've tried that just stick there once you spray, you can rub this in if you choose but I find it sprays pretty evenly and gives adequate protection. The gel is not like the Bain de Soleil of old, and at the beach it is a mess. This spray delivers old style results, smells good, and does not leave an oily residue on my skin.
