I started eating nutrition bars to help me lose weight as an alternative to lunch. I've recently been extremely ill and lost 65 lbs (without trying to lose) and am now considerably underweight. I purchased several boxes of Balance Bars to eat in addition to meals for additional protein. I eat these in the afternoon and in the afternoon for snacks. I particularly like this COOKIE DOUGH flavor, it tastes exactly like the real thing, and has a nice consistency. The chocolate outer coating has a great flavor and is silky smooth. I prefer Balance Bars over all other Protein Bars out on the market today. Balance Bars offer lots of flavors, there are only a few I dislike, but for the most part, they are all great! I'm sure I will continue to eat these after I have my weight under control in place of candy bars...these have vitamins and minerals and taste great..why eat garbage when you can fill your body with great ingredients? This often means that I am working through meals so bars are a necessity for me because I get a migraine if I skip a meal.
