These are the best bars ever. Put one in the microwave for 15 seconds or so, and it will knock your socks off. Like a brownie but better. Eat after a workout or long-run, and the mix of protein, carbs, and fat is great for recovery. Lots of protein so one of these bars is perfect for a post-lift snack to optimize lean muscle building. I have to say, they're too expensive for a college student, but I bought 3 boxes when they were on sale, and if that happens again (next year at this time? hopefully sooner?), I'll buy 5 more. If I had the choice of an endless supply of any bar for the rest of my life, double chocolate balance bars would be it. Yup.

I love these bars for mid day snacks for myself and the kids and also for right before or after exercise class. They satisfy my chocolate cravings and hunger.
