I was feeling really wore out for the past 4 months. At age 48, I knew that I was becoming peri-menopausal but never really understood how progesterone worked into the equation. Bought this but never used it. When I googled the symptoms I was having, it all lead to estrogen dominance. Some of my symptoms were heart palpitations, "jittery" feeling inside my body, foggy thinking, restless legs, tired, depressed, not interested in bedroom activities..the list goes on and on. I finally got my "miracle" cream out and put it on yesterday morning. By noon, I felt like a totally different person! Energy, clear thinking, not feeling down. I use one pump twice a day. This cream has been amazing for me. My Family doctor recommended an over the counter product before having to get a prescription and this cream works great. I use daily for the 21days, take the 7day break and I am in check.

I'm 47 and had been having my cycle every other month for about a year. I was also experiencing mood swings, breast tenderness and hot flashes, (about 5 a day) I had a period in January, 2011 and no cycle again until using this cream for a month. I purchased this product in May and began using as directed, after bathing, on various areas, such as inner thighs, inside arms, abdomen, chest. By end of June, I had a normal period and then another one in July. I've had no cycle since then. I stopped using it at the end of September. This product worked great for all of my symptoms. Moods leveled out, breasts no longer tender and flashes completely disappeared. However, the only drawback, for me, was the odor and the residue left behind by the cream. When I used it on my arms, they would stick to my desk. When I used it on my legs, they stuck to each other, lol. I couldn't use it at all on my abdomen or chest. Also, when I did perspire, the area where the cream was applied became slimy and slick. My doctor completely approved this product, but due to the way it reacted to my skin, I ask for another alternative. Dr. prescribed Primpro. I'm to check back in 4 months with him and see how it's going. I would recommend this if you can deal with the tackiness and odor of the cream.

I like this product. I started using progesterone cream because I stopped the nuvaring (hormonal birth control), due to having migraines with auras (a stroke risk). Six months later, I started having uncontrolled menstrual bleeding, I suppose either due to a fibroid and/or unopposed estrogen / lack of ovulation. I could have gone back on hormonal BCP right away, but due to the stroke risk I would have to do progestin-only type (like depo) and so I decided to go without for a while. So I thought I would give the progestrone cream a try to see if it would regulate, and it sure did. I started using it right away and the bleeding tapered off within a few days. I've now switched to starting on day 14 / stopping day 28. Balance brand was the first one I tried, and liked it because the pump measures out a daily dose. (Downside is that it is then harder to split the dose.) The cream is kind of waxy but I like the texture.

If you use this, be sure to read all the reviews and usage directions. You might want to start tracking your menstrual cycle before you start taking it, so you can start at the right time. Do not take this for just one day and then stop as it will make your hormones and mood go crazy. (Think about it, women naturally get progesterone for half of their cycle, so starting and stopping is not a great idea.) If you start feeling weird, then cut down the daily dose, because you can overdo it. It might be better to increase the dosage gradually over time until you are at the recommended dose or one that works. I really like this, but I am using it as directed, in sync with my own cycle.

Wonderful product for those women looking for hot flash relief. The pump distributes the exact amount to be used but it can be a little tempermental. Don't let that discourage you from using this great product. Of ALL the progesteron products out there, this is the one I prefer and order regularly.

I used this product for the first time yesterday.
After many pushes on the pump and no product coming out, I placed the tip of my finger over the opening and pumped. That created a vacuum in the bottle and the product quickly appeared. Today, product dispensed with only a pump or two.

Like the pump bottle but not sure if the measurement is accurate. I really do NOT like the smell but it wears off. I wish you could tell how much is left in the bottle. I like using progesterone to help with my PMS symptoms but I am not sure if I like this one. It does calm me down and takes the edge off. So I will continue with progesterone just trying to find the perfect scent, formula and packaging. I just reordered the Now Foods on drugstore.com. I hope I like those, since there were no reviews, not sure if that is a bad sign. I will review on those later. As for this one not sure if I will order again. Not crazy about it for the price.
