I would return it if it were at all economical to do so. Maybe I didn't read the description properly. Once I started using this product 3 months ago, it has gotten rid of my daughter's rash FOR GOOD!!!! and keeps the rash away, day and night. It's not messy at all. I have one tube in every baby bag I own, and I'm stocking up on it... just in case... Comments about Balmex Multi-Purpose Healing Ointment, 3.5 oz: I was introduced to this product 30 years ago by a Supervisor at my job. My newborn daughter had a terrible rash on her bottom and Balmex cleared it up overnight. I had tried several other products and she would scream but not with the Balmex and I've used it ever since on 2 children and now my granddaughter and even myself for heat rash. I give it in baby gifts and recommend it highly to new Moms. Please don't ever stop making Balmex! Comments about Balmex Multi-Purpose Healing Ointment, 3.5 oz: This works so much better than other products that are similar for diaper rash on young children and chafing on others, such as from heat and sweating. It goes on and stay in place, but is a little difficult to remove because of that benefit. It is a good moisture barrier as a preventative, as well. It soothes sunburns and bee stings, too. The only thing I wish were different is that the Balm of Gilead that was part of the ingredients had not been removed. It really was better with this as part of the content. Rashes, chafing, burns and stings all literally healed overnight. Now, it takes a few days, but it still is effective and the best product for these uses available.
