I used to have a separate slicker and brush, but it's nice to have both on one handle, and the added combs are so convenient! My cat can't wait until either my husband or I come home so she can get brushed while she eats. I have attempted to use different slickers and brushes, which she didn't like at all and ended up throwing those away. Now this is the only brush we'll need and since she likes getting brushed, her fur doesn't get matted. Even after using the brush for a few months, it still seems like new.

Very good for brushing my cat, especially this time of year with shedding. He is not a long hair cat, but still sheds and this is very gentle but very effective. He loves being brushed and it is easy to clean with the small combs that attach easily to the sides.

This is a great all around brush for my 2 cats and 2 dogs! There's something for everyone! I still have to use a supplemental rake on my long haired dog in addition to the slicker brush part of this product. It seems like a very durable brush, surprisingly light weight for the number of uses. Only slightly bulky for use on the cats.

Toby does NOT like being brushed but using both sides of the brush and the wide comb keep both of us happy. I get to brush his hair, it does not bother him like other brushes I've purchased.

Our five cats have different hair textures and this works on all of them. You essentially get two brushes and two combs in one tool. The combs are good for cleaning the brushes, as well. A useful tool at a bargain price.

I love that this brush does it all! One side has plastic bristles, the other has hooked wire bristles. And a small comb and and a small flea comb are tucked into the head of the brush so you won't misplace them. The brush has a bit of "heft" so that it doesn't feel like it's going to break the first time you use it.

Every item you will need for combing and grooming your cat all in one compact item. My picky cat never left me comb him until I started using this. He loves it.

Rarely comment on things but this broke pretty easy. I need a new one and this seems to be the only one they carry so not willing to buy it again for what that's worth. I used it probably a dozen times and then once it was full of cat hair and I was pulling the excess hair forward out of the metal hairs the entire brush came forward, ripping out of the plastic frame holding the brush backing. It can not be put back so its not usable now.
