I like the stick to apply it, sometimes even can run it on a tissue and then apply it to your face if you don't want it all over your hands. The scorching florida sun cannot get through this when it is on your face- very good. BUT, also bad because it can't get through because it is so thick no matter how little you put on. Still, I don't mind using it except for two problems - it clogs the pores terribly I could tolerate this by only using it it when I need something that is water proof and won't run into my eyes and gives great protections and has no color and no funky smell.
What is not acceptable is that if you keep it with you in the hot sun, it melts in the tube in about 15 minutes of sitting outside. It's fine on your face, but what is in the tube, melts way too much. Therefore, big chunks come off the stick on your face and you can't control the application of it or if you are outside, say for two hours, if you go to put more on in an hour, it will be melted with very little form of a stick left at all, if any. This is just flat out stupid. If you have to keep it cool, then you won't have it with youout in the hot sun when you need to re-apply. Or you actually would have to bring a small cooler to put it in because it will be money melted away. If this was not a factor, it is actually a decent product. But I won't be running into the house everytime I need to re-apply and will only be bringing a cool with me if I want food and drinks, not because I have to do so to keep my sunscreen solid.
Apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure.
Reapply at frequent intervals and after swimming or towel drying.
Ask a doctor before use on children under six months of age.
